  • The right time to upgrade your hosting

Currently I am using shared hosting. I have 10 websites running on shared hosting. I began using shared hosting because it was the cheapest solution for me. Even though I have 10 websites only half of them receives regular traffic and generates revenue. My websites receive between 2000 to 5000 monthly visitors.Do you think I should upgrade my hosting package? When is the right time to upgrade your hosting package. I know I will get a better service if I upgrade my hosting, however, will hosting upgrade improve my traffic?

I believe its time for you to upgrade. Today is the best time. Today is the result of our decisions yesterday. Tomorrow may be too late.

Upgrading hosting package can be really expensive and we have to think about how much we are supposed to spend when we are not generating much revenue. Currently, I am paying $6 every month for hosting my websites. If I have to choose VPN or even Dedicated Server, I will have to pay more, possibly, 200 percent more. Of course I should upgrade, however, I cannot continue paying from my pockets. My websites also need to generate money.

Upgrading Hosting costs more money. If you website is making some money and your website is receiving more traffic then I think you will need upgrade to VPS or Dedicated server for better performance, so that your website is not down. If you are starting a website and still working on it then there is no point in buying a dedicated or VPS as websites take long time to earn money.

Upgrading hosting will not improve traffic. Its the website content that makes it happen.
        Thanks,

you need to a full dedicated server. Dedicated server can handle for your all website and managed your High traffic. Its having the capacity to increase performance of your commercial website as well personal website. many companies provide cheapest dedicated server along with technical support and data migration.

Personally I believe the right time will never be for me, because my audience traffic on my website is quite low, and the majority of my clients are on Facebook. But should the traffic be huge then it's the right time to move to a better host to be able to sustain it.

Getting a huge traffic to your website may be the sign to upgrade your hosting. The possible reason why you are getting a huge traffic is because your website is having a lot of visitors. It is a good thing that you getting a lot of visitors but upgrading your hosting may cost a lot. But it may is for the better to upgrade your hosting if your are experiencing a huge traffic to your website.

It depends. Are you experiencing too much downtime? Because that's one of the downsides to shared hosting is that there can be the occasional downtime, depending on the nature of your business and how many people are on a shared server. It really depends on your business and your hosting provider, a big spike in traffic could take your website down for minutes, hours, or even days.

I don't think the hosting has something to do with traffic unless the service is too slow that the users of your site would be exasperated. But I have to agree that if the speed of access of your web pages is getting to be very slow at times then maybe you should upgrade the hosting package. I know of one site that experienced very slow speed during the late afternoon until evening because the hosting package was on a shared service. They had to upgrade the package for convenience during the peak hours.

I think that it's best to upgrade on your hosting service to have a a better performance on those 10 websites. Running those sites are too big and heavy for a shared host.Your audience might get bored since it affects it's accessibility and speed. I think that a host provider might provide some arrangement or discounts on their services considering your a old trusted client.

It really depends up to the performance. If you feel comfortable and all sites are working fine - there is no need to change hosting. Otherwise, go ahead! I am currently using FastComet hosting for my WP blog https://www.fastcomet.com/wordpress-hosting and I am super happy the with quality of the hosting. So, I can definitely recommend it to you.
