  • Facebook has pulled down pages that violates the policy

It is big news here today that Facebook had deleted more than one hundred Facebook Pages that are connected to the so called link farms. That means those pages are being used to create backlinks to their sites so they would get traffic. What makes the issue controversial is that most of those deleted pages are related to the president of the Philippines - they are the propaganda tools of the fans of the president. But experts in the field say that the Facebook action is not political but just a way of protecting the contents of the social media network.

There were actually pages that were legitimately a group of people/supporters for the president that were taken down as well. It sure wasn't political since it is in the platform's policy, but one can't help to think that way when he is still the only one with such case.

I have heard of this news yesterday. I agree with you. What would he feel if he is the one being done with this thing?
